The full wedding-cake board — three stacked tracks, double the cash, and the wildest spaces in the game. The complete RentRivals experience.
Extreme stacks three tracks into the signature wedding-cake tower and doubles your starting cash to $3,000. On top you have the Bonus tier (as in Standard), in the middle the main 40-space board, and below it the sprawling Ground Streets ring — 56 extra spaces that make this the biggest, longest, and most chaotic way to play.
The bottom tier is where Extreme earns its name. The 56-space Ground Streets ring adds 30 streets named for world cities, plus extra railroads and utilities to spread your bets across — and a set of spaces that can rewrite a game in one turn:
More spaces means more properties, more rent traps, and longer games — and the double starting cash fuels a bigger arms race. The three tiers are linked by staircases (even roll climbs, odd roll stays), so pieces flow between all three levels, and the busy junctions become prime real estate. Economy events like Market Crash and Rent Inflation join the Worldwide Depression to keep the whole market swinging.
Extreme rewards players who can manage a big portfolio and a fat cushion:
Choose Extreme when you want the full spectacle — a long, dramatic game with friends and every system RentRivals has to offer. Newer players or anyone short on time may prefer the Standard board or the quick Classic board first. For the deepest dive into the special spaces and events, see What's Different About RentRivals.
Three — the Bonus tier on top, the main 40-space board in the middle, and the 56-space Ground Streets ring below, all linked by staircases.
$3,000 per player — double the $1,500 you get on the Classic and Standard boards — to fuel the bigger, longer game.
The bottom ring exclusive to Extreme: 30 world-city streets plus special spaces like Land Grab, Forced Deal, the $500 Cash Windfall, the $300 Pay Day, and the Worldwide Depression event.
It's the most complex board, so newcomers often start with Classic or Standard first. But if you want the full experience with friends, Extreme delivers it.
