How Skip the Sizzle works

A flaming rope sweeps around beneath your feet, and it speeds up with every pass. You press to jump it each time it comes around, chaining together as many clean jumps as you can before it catches you. The rope hits at the bottom of its sweep.

One button to JUMP — the on-screen button or space bar. Time each jump to the rope's sweep.

Scoring & how to win

You're scored on total jumps without getting singed. Since the rope accelerates, later jumps get harder and each one you land is worth more to your streak. Most jumps wins.

Strategy: how to get a high score

Jump as the rope's shadow reaches you at the bottom of its arc, not after it's already there — anticipation beats reaction as it speeds up.
Stay loose and keep a rhythm; the rope's timing is regular even as it accelerates, so ride the beat.
Don't double-tap out of nerves — one well-timed jump per pass is all you need, and panic jumps break your rhythm.
Expect the speed-up and mentally shorten your timing window as your streak grows.
