Three slot reels spin, and you press to stop each one in turn. Unlike a real slot, you control when each reel halts, so lining up matching symbols on the payline is a matter of timing rather than luck. Pairs pay, and triples pay big.

You're scored on your payout from matched symbols on the payline. Two matching symbols pay; three matching pay much more. The biggest payout wins the round.
When you play Reel Steady between rounds or in the Arcade, the computer players compete at the difficulty set for your match — from Rookie up to Ace. Easier bots make loose, mistimed plays you can beat with basic execution, while the hardest bots play tight and consistent, so you'll need clean timing to out-score them. In a live game it's the humans who usually decide the round, so a calm, practiced run is your edge.
